PS3 Linux runs Wiimote as a mouse

In a recent public demonstration of the PS3 running Linux, a PS3 spokesperson was showing off the Linux capabilities of the PS3, and used a Wiimote as a mouse. Nintendo's wireless remote/controller was plugged into one of the PS3s spare USB ports, and functioned identically as it would on the Wii itself.

According to www.qj.ps3.net, all that is needed to use the Wiimote on a PS3 is an install of Linux, and the proper drivers. Given this is all functioning in Linux, it is highly unlikely that the Wiimote would work while playing a regular PS3 game.
