Gears of War Takes the Throne of Halo 2

After months and months of holding the tittle for the game most played on XBL Halo 2 gets dethroned by Novembers game of the month, Gears of War. Gears hasn't won by a hair either, since the release of gears of war on November 7th, XBL has had a 80% increase in gamers! Now while a lot of it may have come from the 48 hour free trail of XBL that is still a quite impressive number. The question now is can Gears of War keep it's throne for December, will Halo 2 take back the crown, or is it possible a unexpected newcomer will blindside the both of them.
