PS1 Games on PSP thanks to PS3

A little confusing at first glance, to simplify and explain Sony is making 5 retro PS1 tittles available for download in the PS3 online store, not only will you be able to play these on your PS3 but you can download them to your PSP. Sony is doing its best to be backwards compatible and compete with the Wii in that area, despite a numerous amount of complaints/problems with playing the PS1 format discs. If Sony keeps making moves like this and can correct the technical errors already out there there is no reason why they will not be able to soak up some more market share, especially with Xbox 360's almost non-existing (but improving) backwards compatibility. The currently available titles are Sony's Crash Bandicoot, Cool Boarders, Syphon Filter, and Hot Shots Golf 2, as well as Namco's Tekken 2. Each game costs $5.99, and carries a disclaimer that multiplayer functions in the games won't work because the games have not been altered to support the portable system's Wi-Fi functionality.
